  • 3 tablespoons Commander's Bloody Mary Spice Blend
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • 2 tablespoons Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Smoked Meat Seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Mustard for coating
  • BBQ Sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Ribs:

    • Ensure the rack of ribs is clean and pat it dry.
    • Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better seasoning penetration.
  2. Prepare the Rub:

    • In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons Commander's Bloody Mary Spice Blend, 2 tablespoons Garlic Powder, 2 tablespoons Onion Powder, 1 tablespoon Smoked Meat Seasoning, and salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Coat with Mustard:

    • Brush the ribs with a thin layer of mustard. This will help the rub adhere to the meat.
  4. Apply the Rub:

    • Generously sprinkle the rub mixture over both sides of the ribs, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Marinate:

    • Place the seasoned ribs in the refrigerator and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes. For optimal flavor, you can let it marinate for up to 48 hours.
  6. Preheat the Oven:

    • Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius).
  7. Wrap in Aluminum Foil:

    • Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil to create a sealed package. This helps to keep the moisture in during the slow cooking process.
  8. Bake:

    • Place the foil-wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 170 degrees Fahrenheit (77 degrees Celsius).
  9. Optional BBQ Sauce:

    • If desired, during the last 15 minutes of baking, unwrap the ribs and brush on your favorite BBQ sauce. Ensure an even coating.
  10. Re-wrap and Finish:

    • After applying the BBQ sauce, rewrap the ribs in aluminum foil and continue baking for the remaining time.
  11. Rest and Serve:

    • Allow the ribs to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy your delicious Commander's Spiced Ribs!

This slow-cooked, flavorful recipe guarantees tender and succulent ribs with a unique blend of spices. Adjust the seasoning to your taste preferences, and feel free to experiment with different BBQ sauces for added personal flair.
